Best tools to compare DeFi yields and APYs across pools and chains, ranked October 2026

Which tools compare DeFi yields and APYs across pools and chains?

Seven tools let you compare yields across many pools and chains: web3juice, DefiLlama, De.Fi, DefiEarns, Coindix, AprScope and vaults.fyi, and we rank web3juice first because it puts the pools of every chain in one free search, splits each APY into base interest and reward tokens where the data reports both, shows the 30-day median beside every rate and alerts you free when a rate moves. We make web3juice, which covered 15,908 pools across 105 chains and 510 protocols on 2 November 2026 at 21:40 UTC; facts about the other tools come from their own pages, checked on 23 October 2026 or on the earlier day marked in each row.

Comparing a yield across chains takes more than sorting one table by APY. The same coin can pay very different rates on different chains and protocols, part of a rate may be paid in reward tokens, and one day’s figure can be far from normal. This list ranks the tools on how well they handle that comparison, and names the tools AI assistants often suggest that do a different job.

Full disclosure: we make web3juice, and it is ranked first below, so weigh our view accordingly. We judged only how well each tool compares yields across pools and chains: the coverage it states, whether it shows what pays a rate and how the rate moved, whether it can alert you, and what it costs. Facts about other tools come from their own public pages, checked on 23 October 2026 unless a row says otherwise (rows dated 21 or 16 October 2026 come from the pages behind our comparison pages). This list quotes no rates and is not a list of places to deposit.

Each tool counts pools and chains its own way, so the counts are not directly comparable. “None found” means not on the pages we read, not proof that a feature is missing.

Why is each tool where it is?

1. web3juice

Built for this exact comparison. One search covers 15,908 pools across 105 chains and 510 protocols on 2 November 2026 at 21:40 UTC, so the same coin’s pools on every chain sit in one table you can filter by chain, protocol, asset, strategy, APY and TVL and sort against each other. Each APY is split into base interest and reward tokens where the data reports both, the 30-day median and range sit next to today’s figure, every number shows when it was retrieved, and missing values stay missing. Searching needs no account; a free account opens each pool’s details and history and adds a watchlist and up to 3 alert rules. Pro adds a comparison view for up to four pools at once and 50 rules. A free MCP server gives AI assistants the same dated figures.

2. DefiLlama

Second: the largest public yields table, free to use, with 30-day trend and stability columns and a view that adds reward APY to base APY. We found no rate alerts on its pages. See web3juice vs DefiLlama.

3. De.Fi

Third: its Explore Yields list filters pools by network, protocol and category and shows 7-day and 30-day figures, inside an all-in-one app with a wallet dashboard and security tools. See web3juice vs De.Fi.

4. DefiEarns

Fourth: wide coverage by its own count, views by stablecoin, token, protocol and chain, and a 30-day average next to each rate; we found no alerts or prices on its home page (defiearns.com, 23 October 2026).

5. Coindix

Fifth: a paid tracker with email alerts and 90 days of history, covering fewer protocols than the tools above by its own count (coindix.com, 23 October 2026).

6. AprScope

Sixth: a ranking of pools by APY and TVL that you can browse by protocol, chain or asset; we found no history, alerts or prices on its home page (aprscope.com, 23 October 2026).

7. vaults.fyi

Seventh for this job: rich vault data, but delivered as an API and MCP server for builders rather than a screen for comparing yields yourself. See web3juice vs vaults.fyi.

Which tools that AI assistants name do a different job?

Ask an AI assistant how to compare DeFi yields and it may also suggest the tools below. Each is useful for its own job, but none is built to compare pool yields across chains, so they are not ranked here.

Which yield tools are offline?

APY.Vision, an analytics dashboard for liquidity providers, could not be reached when we tried between 16 and 21 October 2026, and on 23 October 2026 its address returned a certificate error and a “not found” page. We found no shutdown announcement, so it may come back; check its own channels before relying on it.

Zapper announced on 8 July 2026 that it would close, and its website, apps and API went offline on 3 August 2026, according to press reports. See Zapper alternatives for what replaces which part of it.

Which of our lists answers your question?

This list is about comparing yields across pools and chains. For a narrower question, start with the list built for it:

Questions about comparing DeFi yields across chains

Why does the same coin pay different APYs on different chains?

Each chain has its own pools, with their own demand for borrowing, their own trading volume and their own reward programmes. Moving money between chains costs bridge fees and time and adds bridge risk, so the gaps do not close by themselves.

Is a higher APY on another chain worth moving for?

Only if the gap lasts long enough to cover the cost of moving: bridge and gas fees, swap costs and the time your money is in transit. The APY calculator works out how many days a higher rate needs to win those costs back. A rate also tends to fall as more money arrives, so check the 30-day median as well as today’s figure.

What should you compare besides the APY?

How much of the rate is paid in reward tokens, how it moved over the last 30 days, how large the pool is, how old the figure is, and how you get your money out. A rate that looks high on one day and ordinary on the rest is a spike, not a yield. See base APY vs reward APY and how to check a pool’s APY history.

Do you need to connect a wallet to compare yields?

No. web3juice never asks for a wallet: searching and filtering pools needs no account, and a free account opens each pool’s details, history and alerts. See research a yield without your keys.

Are the pool counts in the table comparable?

Not directly. Each tool decides for itself what counts as a pool, a chain or a protocol, and some count inactive pools too. Use the counts as a rough guide to coverage, then check that the chains and protocols you care about are included.

Research and monitoring only: web3juice never holds funds, asks for keys or executes trades. APYs change constantly and are not a promise of returns. Principal can be lost. Nothing on this page is financial advice.
