Zapper alternatives after the shutdown
What can I use instead of Zapper now that it has shut down?
Zapper announced on 8 July 2026 that it would close on 3 August 2026, and reports say its website, mobile apps and API went offline that day. The right replacement depends on what you used it for: DeBank or Zerion for wallet balances, Alertio for alerts on your own positions, De.Fi for an all-in-one dashboard, or web3juice for following what DeFi pools pay (facts checked on 21 October 2026).
Zapper was a multi-chain DeFi portfolio tracker. If you used it, the right replacement depends on which part of it you used.
Full disclosure: we make web3juice, one of the options below, so weigh our view accordingly. The facts about Zapper’s closure come from the press reports linked below; facts about the other tools come from their own public pages, checked on 21 October 2026 unless a row says otherwise. Features and prices change, so confirm them on each site.
What happened to Zapper?
Zapper announced an orderly wind-down on 8 July 2026 and set 3 August 2026 as the day it would shut down. Reports of the announcement said the closure covered the zapper.xyz website, the mobile apps and the API, and that API users would receive guidance on the transition. A report published on 15 October 2026 lists the site, apps and API as offline since 3 August.
Zapper’s own site showed a bot check when we tried it on 21 October 2026, so this rests on those reports: Crypto Briefing (8 July 2026), NFT Evening (11 July 2026, embedding the announcement post), BeInCrypto and TrueHold (15 October 2026).
Which tool replaces which part of Zapper?
| You used Zapper to… | Look at | What to know (checked 21 October 2026 unless noted) |
|---|---|---|
| See what your wallets hold across EVM chains | DeBank | Calls itself a portfolio tracker for Ethereum and EVM: search an address or Web3 ID. See web3juice vs DeBank. |
| Hold and trade, with tracking built in | Zerion | A self-custody wallet with portfolio tracking across EVM chains and Solana; Premium adds lower swap and bridge fees and P&L. See web3juice vs Zerion. |
| Watch what your DeFi pools pay, and hear when it changes | web3juice | Read-only yield research with free APY and TVL alerts (up to 3 rules) and no wallet needed. |
| Get alerts on your lending positions by address | Alertio | Position monitoring by public wallet address; free for 3 alerts (16 October). See web3juice vs Alertio. |
| Use one dashboard with security tools | De.Fi | A wallet dashboard, yield explorer and contract scanner in one app (16 October). See web3juice vs De.Fi. |
What does each replacement do?
1. web3juice: suits following yields after Zapper
Zapper showed the positions you held; web3juice watches what pools pay. Add the pools you are in to a watchlist (up to 10 on a free account) and set up to 3 alert rules: when the APY falls below or rises above a level you choose, moves by a set amount, or when the pool’s TVL drops. Alerts arrive in the app, by email or as a phone notification, and Pro adds Discord and webhooks. Each rate shows the base and reward split and its 30-day median and range, across 15,908 pools across 105 chains and 510 protocols on 2 November 2026 at 21:40 UTC. No wallet connection, ever.
2. DeBank: suits balances on EVM chains
Search an address and see its tokens and DeFi positions on Ethereum and EVM chains. See web3juice vs DeBank.
3. Zerion: suits people who want a wallet too
A self-custody wallet with portfolio tracking built in. See web3juice vs Zerion.
4. Alertio: suits position alerts by address
Alerts tied to your lending and perp positions. See web3juice vs Alertio.
5. De.Fi: suits one dashboard
Portfolio, yields and security tools together. See web3juice vs De.Fi.
Which Zapper alternative is right for you?
For balances, move to another portfolio tracker. For the part of Zapper that told you how your DeFi positions were doing, web3juice covers the yield side: it shows what pools pay and tells you when that changes, without ever touching your wallet. Many former Zapper users will want one of each.
